Cyber Edge Experience

There is a proliferation of IT security conferences in Australia, but most are missing the point, as the challenges facing our national heads of IT security and CISOs cannot be solved purely through technology.

What the market is missing is an opportunity to gather and collaborate, to establish best practice and gain domain expertise from CEOs, CFOs, Boards, CIOs, CMOs, Digital and Operational leaders.

CISOs want insights from the ecosystem of internal business stakeholders they need to serve, to better understand their business issues, the balanced risk, the perceived and actual roles that Trust and Cyber need to play.

After 6 years advising CIOs, CFOs and CDOs, ADAPT have built lasting relationships and gathered deep intelligence data, direct from the leadership of Australia’s Enterprise and Government organisations. Cyber risk and resilience is a top 3 priority for all.

Cyber Edge will gather Australia’s leading Security & Risk stakeholders for an interactive day leveraging the perspectives from ADAPT’s CFO, CDO & CMO communities. It will include Global Keynotes, Panel sessions, Roundtables led by IBRS analysts, and the proven ADAPT matched 1-1 meetings to connect IT security leaders with qualified and aligned strategic partners.

Exclusive Advisory Partnership with IBRS

ADAPT has formed a partnership with IBRS – gaining insight and guidance on our Cyber Edge content from Lead Security Analyst James Turner.

As well as content consultation, our partnership with IBRS will see their analyst team moderating roundtables, panels and also promoting the program within their network.

James Turner

Senior Advisor, IBRS

James Turner is the IBRS Advisor who specialises in cyber security and risk. James has over a decade of experience as an industry analyst and advisor; researching the cyber security industry in Australia. James joined IBRS in 2007 and is the author of the IBRS Security Leadership MAP. James is frequently quoted in the media on industry issues, and is the longest serving cyber security industry analyst in the Asia Pacific region. He contributes a regular opinion piece for the Australian Financial Review covering issues in the local cyber security industry. James is also the founder of CISO Lens and the program manager of the CIO Cyber & Risk Network. These two peer-networking programs are designed to support executives in their roles as leaders for their organisations in the fast-moving space of cyber risk.
