CIO Edge Experience

“The only sustainable advantage you can have over others is Agility… Nothing else is sustainable, everything else you create, somebody else will replicate.” – Jeff Bezos

The Australasian CIO community understands the concepts, the technology, and the relentless pace of change. Enough of the theory, now is the time for the CIO to execute on the strategy. But how?

In February 2018, ADAPT are proud to host the return of MIT CISR Chairman and global powerhouse Peter Weill – and his challenge
to you is “Are you Future Ready?”

Virtually every company is working on transforming their business for the digital era, but unfortunately, there’s no playbook for Digital – until now.
In his main keynote, Peter will share the first draft of MIT CISR’s Playbook for Digital, starting with analysis of MIT’s global study of 1000 firms
to show what digital business transformation looks like, where each are on their journey, and the net Four Pathways an organisation
can choose for their transformation.

In his unique and interactive way, Peter will tell the stories of several firms’ transformations and look at the net margin benefits.
Supported by 18 months of ADAPT local market research, he will also compare Australian enterprises to others, ask each participant
to identify which pathway they are on, and how it’s going.

Peter will finish the playbook with the key capabilities required for digital business transformation and a series of practical benchmarks of investment, capabilities and performance – ensuring you can be future ready today.

Knowledge Partners and Contributors

“The Adapt Edge events are a great way to bring together ICT leaders and forward thinking technology providers, the content is outstanding and organisation is second to none.”

Head of Marketing – Alibaba

“I’ve found the CIO summit as being a rare opportunity to talk to a range of senior people with trust, so it’s quite unique. So there’s no similar event like it anywhere here in Australia… It’s more about problem solving, and having the opportunity to listen and learn about different perspectives…”

Founder – SIP Management Consultants

“It’s all around the networking, an opportunity to actually sit down in a closed environment with the partner community, solutions providers, and also gain some intel from my peers… that well-rounded approach to time with peers, time with theory, and the application of that through case studies, and then time in front of the partner community, that frankly, I just don’t get time for.”

Executive Director – 20th Century Fox

“It’s always struck me as a very powerful event, getting people to think about things and to talk… and have a common experience now to refer back to and to learn from.”
