In The Beginning..................
ADAPT Technology Australia started as a partnership between Pat Gerardis and Dave
White in 1982, growing out of the ashes of the jeans manufacturing company Amco Wrangler.
The initial vision for ADAPT Technology was to provide a machinery and attachment design and manufacturing company for the sewn products industry.
Over the years since its formation ADAPT Technology has undertaken a number of innovative research and development projects on behalf of many clients. ADAPT Technology strives to offer the same service to its clients as the day the company was formed.
The ADAPT People.............
Pat Gerardis, commencing his career as a sewing machine technician,
advanced to become the Research and Development Manager for Amco during the 1970's.
Together with Dave White, Pat formed ADAPT Technology in1982.
The creative power behind ADAPT Technology, Pat readily accepts the challenge of devising ways to improve the potential and capabilities of machinery and equipment.
Dave White also commenced his career as a sewing machine technician and worked with Pat in the Research and Development department of Amco.
The success of ADAPT Technology relies on teamwork and Dave forms an essential role in building, servicing and maintaining the machinery that is designed and sold by ADAPT Technology.
Where We Are Going.................
Since forming ADAPT Technology, our aim has been to satisfy our
clients needs through customising, adapting, designing and creating innovative machines,
equipment and attachments for machines.

Through the association with the Union
Special Corporation (USA), ADAPT Technology is exporting machines and
equipment around the world with Union Special manufacturing and selling ADAPT
Technology patented machines and equipment.
